While writing my post on Murray Wylie, I played his beautiful oratorio on YouTube. At this point of the clip I burst into weeping:
I wept for the loss and waste. For Murray and his depression. The lost friends. The remembrance of the purity of that presentation. It’s lost vision. The original promise. Of the unity of the Body of Christ (read John 17).
I beg you MCF & BCF to return to Christendom and Biblical restoration. Repent. Your lampstand is long since gone.
View my father Charles’ first vision, and his second vision he had THIS WEEK in 2019.
I miss this. 💔 I love this song. Timeless and so beautiful.

As a Canadian-born citizen, this is quite sad and disturbing that I had just found out this side of the MCF and BCF after I’ve grown up with Murray Wylie’s “The Jerusalem Passion” for the past 26 years of my life, as it was my biggest inspiration that got me interested in music, video production and even pipe organ music above all else.
Musically speaking, The Jerusalem Passion is underrated, though after seeing this other side of the “musical hero” I once looked up to, this makes it very clear to me that I would have to become my own musical hero as well as continuing to look up to God and Jesus Christ for guidance whenever I need it the most. As I’ve learned from many wise folks that our heroes are not perfect, thus we need to stand up and take action on what we should be doing to make the world a better place and prepare for the eventual Second Coming of Christ. This article reminded me about how we should be our own heroes and not rely on our imperfect human heroes: https://www.bolde.com/its-time-to-be-your-own-hero/
I can understand where you’re coming from, as I had a tough decision to renounce my faith and membership in the Seventh-day Adventist Church due to some inconvenient truths I have found out about that were very disturbing. Thus I’m now a non-denominational Christian as I don’t want to pledge allegiance to any specific denomination, period. We should be pledging allegiance to God All-mighty and his son, Jesus Christ, our Saviour.
Keep it up with these posts, Paul. You’re doing the right thing. 🙂

Yes, unfortunately the JP was one of the last really good things that BCF/MCF ever did. I don’t think I can really fault the JP. Awesome music. Awesome message.
Pretty much straight after JP they went cult with Vic’s word with Murray by his side. They kind of took the JP message to themsleves.
And it WAS very disappointing to not have Murray come clean when I talked to him the last time.
But in a cult we should give everyone time.
It took me time to see it.
Equally it’s true Murray Wylie’s seen a lot of bad stuff.
Thnx for the encouragement JS.
